JOBS AND BUSINESS EXPANSION.

Ottawa County has the fastest-growing economy in the U.S. Prior to COVID, we had the lowest unemployment rate in Michigan, and we leads the nation in job creation. We’ve been repeatedly ranked among the best places to start and grow a business.

Jacob understands strong business growth is essential to supporting working families. His advocacy has brought competitive taxes and utility rates to ensure everyone in Ottawa County can find the job and career that fulfills them.

RESPONSIBLE SPENDING. LOWER TAXES.

Jacob is putting tax dollars to work by being smarter with our money and ensuring working families, community mental health and more are properly funded and function FOR the people. He wants to lower taxes and add no new mileages!

Jacob knows the past four years have been the most fiscally irresponsible in our county’s history. Every dollar spent, every legal payment, every rate increase and tax hike hits US FIRST.

Making smarter decisions on county spending is the best way to ensure it works for everyone.

THE
BLUE

Ottawa County is ranked among the most efficient and effective community public safety programs in Michigan. He knows that reforms don’t come easy, but protecting people means having smart and committed members of the sheriffs department, 9-1-1 service and emergency preparedness programs.

Every place from downtown Zeeland, Jenison, Borculo, Allendale, Grand Haven and in between, should be a safe place to live, work, learn and grow.

A Life of Christian Service.
